Thanks to local giving for awarding us a Magic Little Grant 2021 of £500 to support expanding our indoor bowling to engage with more local people to encourage participation in the sport.

Coatbridge Indoor Bowling

At Coatbridge Indoor Bowling Club our aim is to create a friendly atmosphere for all players.

Bowls is one of the most inclusive sports - suitable for all ages and abilities.

Beginners are encouraged to come along and give bowls a try and we have  bowls available for you to use free of charge.

Carpets get a stretch

CIBC Carpet received some TLC today (Thursday 10th February 22) and was stretched to improve running.

The slide measures the speed of the bowl before and after stretching, and it is now 17 seconds.

Huge congratulations to our new Scottish Champions!

Carol Condy  beat Cecilia Smith of East Fife in a fantastic final at Stirling to win the
Scottish Senior Singles Title.
Our Senior Gents Fours Team triumphed over Midlothian in a thrilling final which was nip and tuck for a while before our team pulled away to a 17-10 Scottish Senior Fours Title Win. Well done

Peter Creaney, Alan Patterson, Billy Cochrane and Jim Prunty.

This victory means the  team has now qualified for the British Isles Championship in 2023.

" Bowls is also one of the most inclusive sports.  It can be played at  any age or ability and we also have visually and physically impaired players.   Membership offers great benefits and everyone is very friendly and welcoming.  I would thoroughly recommend anyone to try it. You would be made very welcome at the club."
